Puppy Kindergarten This is an extremely important program for puppies five months of age or younger. As this is the most critical time of your dog's life you should start training and socializing as soon as possible. This program consists of 4 lessons (approx. an hour each) during which you will be counseled and coached on socialization, housetraining, preventing unwanted behaviors and beginning obedience work. Obedience Training Obedience training is the best way to prevent and eliminate behavior problems. This program can go lesson-by-lesson or can be a six-lesson course. It will be tailored to your personal needs but can include: name recognition; sit; stay; come; loose-lead walking; heel; leave it; off; give; and down. Behavior Modification This option is for owners who are having specific problems with their dog such as jumping, mouthing, chewing, digging, barking, fear issues, accidents in the house, counter-surfing, door-darting, etc. We will help you eliminate these inappropriate behaviors. Housetraining Help Whether you just got a new puppy or have an older dog that was never properly housetrained, we can help you teach your dog the proper place to potty. Change/Adjustment Counseling This program is for dogs and people who are currently experiencing, or will be experiencing, changes in their lives such as having a baby, moving to a new place, introducing a new pet, etc. You will be counseled on how to make this transition as easy as possible for your canine companion. |
